Each dress is illustrated as well as numerous photographs of the princess wearing the items, close up details and reproductions of designers' drawings. The auction took place a couple of months before the Princess' death. Proceeds benefited several AIDS and cancer charities. The catalogue provides a snapshot of Diana's unique style and celebrated dress sense
